MY WORK

Creator indexgaze Jun 2022 - Present

A Free to use FinTech tool for casual and beginner investors to view the outlook of the stock market in India. It does candlestick pattern detection, current market trend detection, financial status analysis of a company. The tool has a colour coding scheme that enables novice participants to better understand the market trends. The tool has listings of 20 indexes, 4000+ equities, and 190+ industries/sectors. Each trading day, it performs ETL 6000+ listed companies and processes 250,000+ data points.
Conceptualised the idea behind the tool. Created the systems designs(HLD & LLD) of this project. It is hybrid system with server & serverless based distributed services along with containerisation.
Programmed the entire backend in TS on Node.JS with certain services implementing multithreading for parallelism. I have used React.Js library for frontend with SSR(Server Side Rendering for SEO) using VITE. Programmed unit tests with Jasmine and code coverage with Istanbul. Defined API contracts and validators with Joi.
UsedInfluxDB a time series database for stock data, and MongoDB for the application metadata.
Identified and implemented mathematical calculations involved in data extrapolation, pattern detection, and outlook analysis.
Set up the cloud infrastructure on AWS through IaC with the use Terraform. This includes various Subnets, Security groups, computational instances, cache servers, bastion hosts, NAT instances, volumes, IAM policies etc. And created serverless resources like Lambda functions through the use of Serverless framework.
Created the CICD pipelines for frontend and backend deployments.
Created automated schedulers to independently process the data points without human intervention.
Established efficient logging mechanism for tracking errors.
Defined Security measures to restrict data scraping, CSRF attacks, DDoS attacks etc.
Overall I perform all the activities from designing, development and maintenance of this entire ecosystem.

A free lightweight open-source database client for InfluxDB.
The sole purpose of creating this dependency was to provide cross version compatibility by supporting SQL and Flux queries and simplify implementation and usage.

- Developed a healthcare communication system using Raspberry Pi and sensors for real-time patient data sharing with remote doctors. Developed sensor drivers in Node.js and a real-time feed frontend in Angular1.
- Developed a customer journey system with chatbots for seamless bot-to-live agent transfers. Built an Angular app with XMPP integration to manage 50+ simultaneous customers and set up Avaya IPOffice for unified communications.
